What is Otolaryngology?
An otolaryngologist, also known as an otorhinolaryngologist, is a physician that treats and performs surgery on the ears, the nose, the throat, and voice box, and related structures of the head and neck. They are commonly referred to as ENT Physicians. Otolaryngologists receive training in the diagnosis, medical management and surgical intervention specific to pediatric ear, nose, and throat issues.
